Our portico opens the doorway to our “home away from home” and extends the hospitality of the Club to all of our guests.


Getting to Northmoor Country Club

We hope this road map will prove helpful to you in reaching our Clubhouse.

  • From the South
    • Take I-294 (Illinois Toll Road) North to Lake Cook Road. Turn right (or East) to Green Bay Road – 5.9 miles. Turn left (or North) on Green Bay Road to Edgewood Road – 1.5 miles North of Lake Cook Road. Edgewood Road is one block North of stoplight at Roger Williams Avenue. Turn left on Edgewood. The Club is located one block from Green Bay on the left side. 
      OR 
      Take Kennedy Expressway to Edens Expressway North to Clavey Road exit. Exit right and proceed East to Green Bay Road – 1st stoplight. Turn left (or North) on Green Bay Road to Edgewood Road - .6 miles North of Clavey Road. Edgewood Road is one block North of the stoplight at Roger Williams Avenue. Turn left on Edgewood. The Club is located one block from Green Bay Road on the left side. 

  • From the North
    • Take #41 South to Central Avenue in Highland Park. Exit up the ramp to Central Avenue and proceed east to Green Bay Road – 1.5 miles. Turn right (or South) on Green Bay Road and proceed 1 mile to Edgewood Road. Turn right (or West) on Edgewood Road. The Club is located one block from Green Bay on the left side.

      NOTE: Edgewood is not a through street. You can only turn West

GUESTS PLEASE NOTE: Steel spikes are not allowed on the golf course. If your shoes need converting, please arrive at Northmoor a few minutes early and the locker room staff will be happy to assist you.

IMPORTANT: After you enter our circular driveway follow the signs to our main golf bag drop which is opposite the Men’s Locker Room entrance. Then, park your own car. If you prefer to use valet parking, just proceed back to the circular driveway to the clubhouse entrance.

Guest Attire:

LUNCH
Sports attire may be worn anywhere throughout the Clubhouse. Sport attire is defined as clothing consistent with current golf or tennis fashion. This includes, Bermuda length shorts, slacks, shirts with a collar, mocks, turtle necks or banded collar shirts (Not tee shirts).

DINNER
Sports attire may be worn on the Terrace, Living Room or the Grill Room. Sport attire is defined as clothing consistent with current golf or tennis fashion. This includes, Bermuda length shorts, slacks, shirts with a collar, mocks, turtle necks or banded collar shirts (Not tee shirts). Casual attire may be worn on the South Patio, Summer Dining Room, Garden Bar and Lounge. Casual attire includes long or short sleeve collared sport shirt, sweaters, dress shirts, slacks, dress shorts, skirt, including dress denim for Men and Women (No holes or tears). Tee shirts of any nature, mock tees, flip flops and open toe sandals not allowed for Men. Country Club Dressy is the attire for the Private Dining Room. Jackets are preferred but not required. Dress shirt or sweater with slacks of a tailored nature for Men. Dress, dressy skirt with shirt, blouse or sweater, suit, tailored dress pants or evening outfit for Women. Denim not allowed for Men or Women. Sport shoes, gym shoes and flip flops not allowed for Men or Women. Open toed sandals not allowed for Men. 


Cell phone Policy:

With the exception of the locker rooms, cell phones with audible ringers will not be permitted in the Clubhouse or in any area where food is being served. Cellular phone calls may only be placed in the locker rooms and outside the Clubhouse. You may receive phone calls with no audible ringer if you immediately excuse yourself and finish the call either in the locker room or in other areas of the Clubhouse where Club phones are located.
